
Having started out as a fashion
designer, Sean is now an "idea entrepreneur" and design strategist.
He started his own business
in 1999 having worked for various brands and international
corporations gaining in-depth experience and knowledge.

Camden Lock Market
Sean entered fashion with his own business at Camden Lock Market in
the late 1970’s selling his custom hand-painted shoes, PVC
mini-skirts, quiled satin jackets, rip-stop nylon bags and ponchos,
pill-box hats and cosutme jewellery to customers.
Customers included Boy George, Annie Lennox, Steve Strange, Divine, Shock and Pineapple Dance Studios.
He worked during the evenings after college in his Covent Garden studio space to produce what was needed for weekend sales.

Post Graduation
On graduation from St. Martin's in 1984 Sean worked as a menswear
designer in Hong Kong. He has lived and worked in the USA,
Australia, India, Japan, Turkey and Spain in addition to his native
UK.
He has worked for some of the leading design, fashion, and textile business names progressing from Assistant to Tommy Nutter on Savile Row, through Designer roles and on to Board level for high street retail groups handling brands such as Van Heusen, Viyella, and Aertex.

Fashion Community
Sean has been involved in fashion education and external assessment
at Diploma, Degree and Masters level and has been involved with the
Royal Society of Arts Student Design Awards as a judge and advisor
on the fashion panel since 1993, and a judge at Graduate Fashion
Week.
He is a Mentor for the Flying Start programme of the National Council for Graduate Entrepreneurship and is a Visiting Professor in Fashion at The Domus Academy in Milan. For Texprint he Art Directs the brochure for their annual event.

Personal Education
Sean attended the King Alfred School in London and then studied at
St. Martin’s School of Art first for Foundation Studies and
then for Degree graduating with a BA(Hons) in Fashion Design in
1984.
